Identification

Talent is everywhere. Let's find it.

Forty-two percent of U.S. schools do not identify a single gifted student. Because of this, and the subjective nature of identification processes in schools that do identify, more than 3.6 million gifted students do not receive access to advanced academic programming to develop their talents.

Underidentification

More than a third of students nationwide attend a school that doesn’t identify ANY gifted students. For those that do, their talents are often overlooked because schools fail to use best practices to identify them. Research shows that this results in schools missing almost two-thirds of gifted students.
